Being a kid should be a joyful and stress-free experience, especially when it comes to playing sports.
Kids today often face intense pressure to perform, even in recreational leagues. Many children don’t get the chance to truly enjoy the game and develop their skills at their own pace.
Throughout the year we offer:
- Flag Football (K-12) | Fall & Spring
- Girls Volleyball (3-12th Grades) | Fall & Spring
- Basketball (K-12) | Winter
- Girls Cheer (K-5th) | Winter
With Upward Sports, the focus is on fun, skill development, and fostering a Godly atmosphere for kids to exercise and play sports.

How we do things
For over 23 years, Upward Sports has been helping kids develop athletically and spiritually.
Throughout the year, we do flag football, girls volleyball, basketball, and cheer. Prior to each season, we’ll post registration information below.
We’re always looking for volunteers to help coach or referee. If you’d be interested, reach out to recreation staff by clicking the button below. Here’s a few things to keep in mind:
- Coaches receive half-scholarship for their child.
- We do ask that you register to coach prior to registering your player. Email us at recreation@qsbc.org to receive a coach discount code to register your player.
- Coaches must referee one game each week.

Upward Basketball
It’s time for basketball! If you’ve got boys and girls in K-12th grades, we’d love for them to play here at Upward.
Early Registration for Basketball is through September 21, 2024. The cost is $90. After that day, the cost is $105.
The deadline to sign up is November 2.
Practices start the week of November 18 and the first game is the week of December 7.
Upward Cheerleading
The Cheerleading Season is here for girls in K-5th grades.
Early Registration is now through September 21. The cost is $90. After that day, the cost is $105.
