Women's Ministry

The focus of our Women's Ministry for 2022 is JOY. What it is. What it is not. And how to find and experience consistent inexplicable joy as we walk daily with God through the multifaceted circumstances of our lives. Be assured this journey towards joy will be met with challenges, trials and sufferings. But do not lose heart!  If we persevere and press forward toward Christ with humility and vulnerability, we will be able to "count it all joy". And, each day we will be able to rejoice in the confidence that He who began this good work in us will be faithful to carry it through to completion (Philippians 1:6).

We have all been impacted by COVID19. It takes commitment to stand firm and not shrink back from the things we so desperately need – our relationship with God and our relationship with others. Even though so many things in our lives are different, altered, and challenged – as believers and as a Women’s Ministry, our vision and our mission have not changed. Discipleship, community, and missions remain the pillars of our faith.

We are excited to see and experience what all God has in store for our Women's Ministry and our women at Quail Springs Baptist Church. We are trusting in God's plan and His timing as we move forward. We desire to get all women connected to Quail Springs Baptist Church and reach those that aren't yet connected; for them to know each other well and provide Titus 2 support and encouragement.

EVENTS

2021 Tying Hope Together

Tying Hope Together was a wonderful blessing. Thank you to all who helped make it a huge success!  With your support, we were able to raise just over $9,000 for The Pearl House.  Praise God!

2021 Summer Block Party

On July 8, QSBC Women beat the Oklahoma heat with a Summer Block Party. It was a great opportunity to build community and experience intergenerational fellowship with women of all ages and stages. We enjoyed a delicious dinner, Roxy's Ice Cream and each received specially designed gifts.

Breaking Ground 2021

We kicked off our year with "Breaking Ground" earlier this year. It was a wonderful time of exploring the true nature of spiritual growth–what’s involved and what’s not. We also gave tools, resources and ideas to help you grow in your walk with God. If you missed it, you can watch here. You can also purchase Scripture packs for $5 at the church office.

Philippians - How to Have JOY: A Precept Bible Study

Philippians is a beautiful, wellspring of spiritual truths. It is an invitation to “count it all joy” no matter what. This treasured epistle contains many lessons for life that will literally transform your heart, ushering in inexplicable joy and enduring peace as you take God at His Word. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to participate in this life-changing study – live at QSBC, via Zoom and video recording.

Resetting Everyday Rhythms to Align with God’s Priorities

When January rolls around, it seems as if people everywhere are working toward big, lofty goals. They’re going to read more, get fit, and obtain career success all at the same time. However, instead of joining everyone in their pursuits, I often find myself pushing against such aspirations. Whether it’s fear of failure, skepticism, or just a hardness of heart, I resist the “new year, new me” mentality.

But, this year, the Lord has been asking me to look deeper.

Should we as believers set goals and “resolutions”? Should we resist them and write them off as worldly? Maybe, there’s not a right answer but instead, there’s a higher calling: a calling to pursue Godliness and the things of God by resetting our everyday rhythms to align with God’s priorities. And maybe, this happens little by little, day-by-day, with our eyes set on eternity.

Intentional Friends Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to "reach a woman right where she is to help her become the woman God designed her to be.” Our intent is to stir hearts and challenge our ladies to courageously step into other women's lives and embrace their God-given role so that we might be "mutually encouraged by each other's faith." (Romans 1:12)
