Women's Ministry

The focus of our Women's Ministry for 2021 will be on spiritual growth. Our desire is to experience consistent growth over time in the multifaceted areas of our spiritual lives. Be assured this endeavor will be met with challenges, trials and sufferings. But do not lose heart!  If we persevere and press forward toward Christ with humility and vulnerability, growth will come. And, each day we will be able to rejoice in the confidence that He who began this good work in us will be faithful to carry it through to completion (Philippians 1:6).

We have all been impacted by COVID19. It takes commitment to stand firm and not shrink back from the things we so desperately need – our relationship with God and our relationship with others. Even though so many things in our lives are different, altered, and challenged – as believers and as a Women’s Ministry, our vision and our mission have not changed. Discipleship, community, and missions remain the pillars of our faith.

We are excited to see and experience what all God has in store for our Women's Ministry and our women at Quail Springs Baptist Church. We are trusting in God's plan and His timing as we move forward. We desire to get all women connected to Quail Springs Baptist Church and reach those that aren't yet connected; for them to know each other well and provide Titus 2 support and encouragement.

Intentional Friends Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to "reach a woman right where she is to help her become the woman God designed her to be.” Our intent is to stir hearts and challenge our ladies to courageously step into other women's lives and embrace their God-given role so that we might be "mutually encouraged by each other's faith." (Romans 1:12)

2021 Summer Block Party

On July 8, QSBC Women beat the Oklahoma heat with a Summer Block Party. It was a great opportunity to build community and experience intergenerational fellowship with women of all ages and stages. We enjoyed a delicious dinner, Roxy's Ice Cream and each received specially designed gifts.

Breaking Ground 2021

We kicked off our year with "Breaking Ground" earlier this year. It was a wonderful time of exploring the true nature of spiritual growth–what’s involved and what’s not. We also gave tools, resources and ideas to help you grow in your walk with God. If you missed it, you can watch here. You can also purchase Scripture packs for $5 at the church office.

Precept Bible Study

1 John - The Importance of Knowing – A Precept Bible Study
Thursdays, 9:30a-11:30a am,  Beginning September 16th (8 Weeks)

Description: Where do you stand with God? Does your lifestyle reflect the character of the One to whom you say you belong?  We live in a day and age where absolutes are regularly challenged and rejected. Yet God does not change with the whims of culture, nor is He subject to the opinions of man. God wants us to KNOW Him and His Son. He has given us His Word as a plumbline from which we can determine right and wrong and measure our heart and actions. When the world tempts us to usurp Him and His right to determine the standard of truth, God’s Word remains. The key to lasting peace, confidence, and joy in the Christian life is KNOWING for sure who you are and Whose you are. First John is a very practical book describing the fellowship believers have with each other and with Jesus Christ. If we take the words written by John and apply them to our daily lives, the true love, commitment, fellowship, and joy we long for will be ours! You won’t want to miss the opportunity to participate in this life-changing study – live at QSBC and via Zoom.  (Note: We will also cover 2&3 John in this study)

Blog

The QSBC Women Blog seeks to inspire and challenge women with relevant truths for godly living, spiritual growth, serving the body of Christ, building community and sharing our faith as we are going about life. We desire to help women live in spiritual freedom and victory through faith-based topics that relate to the real world.

Teaching and Training: Why We Should Intentionally Invest in Others

Investing in others isn’t just good, it’s Biblical. Paul laid out this command in Titus 2:3-5. Throughout Scripture, we see instructions to pass down the Word of God from one generation to the next. However, as Paul wrote to Titus, he provided greater detail of just how to do this—through teaching and training.
