Our Student Ministry Staff loves to invest in, disciple, encourage, equip, and have fun with our students. This is why we host numerous events and social activities throughout the year.
Falls Creek is a week-long summer camp opportunity for our students in Davis, OK.
BIG Weekend is a concentrated time of worship, discipleship, service, Bible study, and fun during the spring semester.
Welcome Weekend is a time of student ministry orientation for incoming 6th graders and incoming Freshman.
Mission trips for middle school and high school students take place throughout the year. We serve on mission
in our city, our country, and around the world. We desire to counter the me-centered worldview with a Christ-centered view, and we encourage students to help others through missions and various service projects. Some of our activities include helping in a homeless shelter, serving food in an inner-city mission, construction projects, international work, serving with church plants, and helping teach summer Vacation Bible School (VBS). For more information on upcoming trips, contact the Student Ministry staff.
Parent Link is a bi-annual event to challenge, encourage and equip parents as they raise students to follow Jesus. Each Parent Link Dinner involves a guest speaker who addresses relevant issues when it comes to raising teenagers. Parent Link Dinner also serves a key communication event for the student ministry to inform parents of upcoming activities, camps, and mission trips related to their students. At this time, parents can gather together to encourage one another as they understand the challenges that come from raising teenagers.
This weekend will be a vital, dynamic conference geared towards middle school students; training them to be leaders NOW! Along with equipping your students, youth pastors will be able to spend time developing and focusing on your middle school student ministry. It is 2 days of high energy worship, games and the Word!
5th Grade Parent Link
Middle School brings so many changes, especially during a student’s sixth grade
year. Quail Springs Baptist Church has recognized the importance of offering sixth graders the opportunity to transition in a safe and encouraging environment. Because we understand this is such an important year in your student’s life, we want to take every opportunity we can to communicate with and prepare you for this upcoming year.
