I grew up in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and have been involved in church activities for the majority of my life. I remember always believing in God, but that belief was the extent of it. When I was sixteen, a friend invited me to her youth group. I quickly got involved in that group and became a regular attender. During my time there, through intentional discipling, I began to realize what it meant to actually follow Jesus. Following Jesus was more than just believing in Him, It meant walking with Him in a personal relationship. At the age of sixteen I began a true walk with Jesus Christ, and on September 11, 2005, I made my decision public through obedience in baptism.

After getting into the University I always dreamed of going to and pursuing the career I wanted to do, God began to reveal He had different plans for my life. After the Youth Pastor at my home church moved on to another place of service, I was given the opportunity to lead the youth ministry until they found a new youth pastor. Through that experience I started to sense that God was calling me to a life of vocational ministry. Toward the end of the summer of 2008 I stopped wrestling with God and His call and surrendered to full-time ministry.

In the Fall of 2009 I transferred to Oklahoma Baptist University and graduated in December of 2011 with a B.A. in Applied Ministry with a Youth Ministry emphasis. During my time at OBU I met my wife Erin, who is a Physical Therapy Assistant. We enjoy serving the Lord together in the Middle School Ministry here at QSBC. We also enjoy spending time outdoors (hiking, hunting, camping, and fishing), finding the best restaurants in town, and spending time with our Chocolate Lab Hank.

In May 2017 I graduated with a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before serving at QSBC I was the Youth Pastor at Eastwood Baptist Church in Midwest City, OK for a little over three years. I joined QSBC as the Middle School Pastor in January 2014. We love being here at QSBC, and it is an honor to serve the students and families here.

To lead middle school students to begin a personal relationship with Jesus where they love Him more than anything else, and are growing to become more like Jesus in their attitudes and actions everyday of their life. I desire to equip them to make disciples by taking the Gospel to their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth.
