The Upper Room at Quail Springs Baptist Church is a special place set aside for intercessory prayer. QSBC members spend a designated hour each week in the Upper Room, interceding on behalf of the spiritual and physical needs of others.

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men…” —1 Timothy 2:1

The prayer ministry of Quail Springs Baptist Church glorifies God, undergirds the members and ministries of His church in prayer, and leads believers to a deeper, more intimate walk with God.

What is intercessory prayer?

Simply put, intercessory prayer focuses on making an appeal to God for the needs of someone else. Through intercessory prayer we stand in the gap between God and man (Ezekiel 22:30), pleading with Him on behalf of others who desperately need God’s intervention in their lives.
