EQUIP U: NEW ‘COFFEE TALK’ CLASSES… There is no cost for these events. Register here for the following:
o “Issues & Elections: What the Church Can (And Cannot) Do”
Meets on Sunday, May 2, in the Café (208-209). Led by Brian Hobbs & Wade Crews, the discussion will be based on the SBC’s Ethics & Religious Liberty’s guide for churches.
o “Marriage Lessons We ‘ve Learned”
Join QSBC Pastor Hance Dilbeck and his wife Julie as they share marriage guidance and insight. Class meets in the Café on Sundays, April 11, 18 and 25. The course is for all ages of adults, singles, engaged, newly married, long-time married and more.
CONCERT THIS WEDNESDAY… Bethel University’s award winning Renaissance Quartet is coming to QSBC on Wednesday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. The group’s appearance is free and open to the public. Visit music.qsbc.org for more information.
NAVIGATE ‘10 – YOUNG & SINGLE ADULT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE… Sign up here for “Navigate 10,” a Young and Single Adults Leadership Conference for singles, pastors, and Sunday school leaders, which is set for May 22 at Quail Springs Baptist Church. The event costs $35 (or $45 if you register after May 16) and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Come and be encouraged and energized to build your single adults ministry. A ‘GOOD NEWS CLUB’ TRAINING… will be held Friday, March 26 (6:30-9 p.m.) and Saturday, March 27 (9 a.m.-2 p.m.) in the QSBC Cafe. Any teen or adult interested in learning more about this after school Bible club is welcome to come to this free training. Call Dawn Goodwin at 340-7949 for more information concerning this ministry to our community.
THE SINGLES SPRING RETREAT… at Falls Creek is set for April 9-11, 2010. Hospitality will be at FBC, Hollis Cabin. Cost: $25.00. Register here or fliers available in Singles Bible Study rooms and from QSBC Singles Ministry office. Contact Pam at 405.302.3037.
MEN’S ANNUAL RETREAT… is April 23 & 24. Sign up now at the Men’s Ministry Zone (near gym) or call the Education Office at 755-9240 ext.255. Cost is $49 and is due by April 4.
MISSIONARY TRIP HELP NEEDED… Medical professionals for QSBC missions work in Armenia are needed. The trip will likely occur in July and the approximate cost will be $2,000. See Mike Hoffman or Ray Griffin for more information.
LADIES RETREAT “INTERRUPTED”… will be April 16-17 at Falls Creek. Make you plans now to attend. Visit the R.U.T.H. table in hall near the library or go online to ruth@qsbc.org to register.
A MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY FALLS CREEK RETREAT… This retreat takes place April 9-10, 2010 at Falls Creek and is for Grades 6-8. Cost is $40. Pick up information and release forms in the Student Building. (We will leave 4:00 p.m. and Return 9:00 p.m.). Register here.
QUAIL KIDS… presents, “Birthday in a Box,” a special mission project in conjunction with the QSBC Food Pantry. Throughout the month of March, there are four stations for donated birthday party supplies such as cake mix, frosting, candles, party favors and party decorations. Quail Kids will be collecting and boxing the “Birthday in a Box ” kits to distribute to families in need.
NEW WORSHIP SERVICE… QSBC now offers a weekly worship service for young adults called 11:11 WORSHIP: A gathering of young adults. The service, which will begin at 11:11 a.m. each Sunday, will be in the Fellowship Hall and will be specifically targeted to college students and young adults (approximately 18-35 age range).
MEN’S MINISTRY ZONE… Stop by the new men’s ministry table near the QSBC gym in the south hallway. There you will find out about upcoming events, opportunities to connect and serve, as well as meet men’s ministry coordinator Shaun Sweiger.
THE QSBC FOOD PANTRY… is in need of the following items: peanut butter, jelly, cookies, spaghetti sauce, crackers, cereal, one-pound dry beans, small hams, cake frosting and bath soap. Donations may be dropped off in the church office or at the food pantry (B113) on Wednesdays and Sundays.
A THROUGH THE BIBLE READING PLAN… At this link, you will find a reading plan that the Pastor has selected that he believes will enrich your walk with the Lord.
EVENT REQUESTS… Any group, large or small, needing to use a room at the church must complete and submit our current facility/event request form available in the church office. Once submitted, you may visit the church’s Web site (qsbc.org) to verify that your event has been approved and is on the QSBC church calendar. (Click on the “calendar” tab at the top). Please be aware the event approval process typically takes 5-7 working days. If your event was not approved, you will be notified of the conflict so that you may resubmit your event. Contact the church business office at 755-9240 with any questions.
SUNDAY MORNING TRAFFIC FLOW… When exiting the QSBC parking lot on May Avenue on Sundays at Noon please use North exit to go North, & South exit to travel South, in order to ease traffic. Many thanks.
TAKE A FREE SPIRITUAL GIFTS ANALYSIS… If you are a QSBC church member, please take a moment to complete the free Spiritual Gifts Analysis provided by the church. This analysis will help you understand your spiritual gifts as well as the church staff to be able to provide opportunities of service in the way God has gifted you.

THE ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING… The theme for the 2010 offering is “Living With Urgency,” and the giving goal for QSBC is $20,000. As of Sunday, March 7, $13,174.60 has been given toward the goal.
