There is a serious misconception of the Christian life which has been prevalent in Christendom since the days of the early apostles and remains even now. This popular notion is that the Christian life is a matter of conduct. "Do certain things; don't do certain things, and you are a Christian”. The importance of a correct understanding of Christian truth and of the nature of the life produced by it cannot be over-emphasized. The Christian life consists not in behaving but in being, a life out of which behavior naturally proceeds; not something external, but internal, the root producing the fruit. There is such freedom in Christ to discover - freedom from hypocrisy, freedom from bad motives and habits, freedom from the traditions of men. The way to lasting freedom comes by knowing the truth! God used the apostle, Paul, to write a letter to some churches who were struggling with these issues, a letter that still speaks to us today. Its message clearly defines the relationship between Law and grace, and how Christians live under grace, led by the Spirit, free from bondage. Please prayerfully consider joining us for this life-changing study!
