QSBC Adds Weddings & Special Events Hostess

Carol Schaller, longtime member of Quail Springs Baptist, has agreed to assist the church as Wedding and Events Coordinator.

   “In this part-time role, Carol’s responsibilities will include all wedding, funeral, and other special events that require coordination of rooms, food, table covers, table decorations, etc.,” said QSBC Business Administrator, Tom Boone. “The church will continue to rely on Sunday School departments and volunteers to implement plans, yet Carol, who is uniquely qualified for this position, will coordinate all the involved people to be sure everything turns out perfectly.”

   Schaller most recently arranged the fifth anniversary events for Pastor Dilbeck and Ray Griffin. She and her husband, John, have been actively involved in Preschool Education at QSBC, as well as ministering to QSBC’s homebound members.

   Her new responsibilities will include some events related to funerals. “Actual funeral services arrangements should still be directed to the Pastor’s office,” said Boone. “When a service date is established, however, all other arrangements, such as coordinating a funeral dinner, will be handled by Carol.”

   “In addition, weddings also will be scheduled by Carol,” said Boone. “To inquire about a wedding booking, contact Carol and she will seek to get the event on the church calendar.” The same is applied for requesting wedding showers and anniversary celebrations.
