Update: February 8, 2012

The forecast for February does not look as positive for our construction schedule as the good month that we had in January. If weather permits the piers and beams will be poured on the Adult Education Bldg. this week, and the dirt work will begin on the Fellowship Hall.

The electricians are working in the building locating connections and running new circuits. Their work will continue throughout the project. All existing church systems are up and running with no glitches or problems.

Jim Perkins, the project superintendent for Lippert Bros., is doing a great job in coordinating all of the work around our busy church schedule. This is the 16th church project he has built, so he knows the challenges of building on an active and ongoing church site.

Everyone continues to adjust to our crowded hallways with a spirit of cooperation. We will have additional traffic flow information both inside and out to help the process.

Continue to pray for everyone involved in the daily work of constructing these buildings, and for all of those that will come to worship, study and minister in the years to come.
